Platform Independence
ImageNow is optimized for Microsoft® Windows® and the major UNIX® platforms from Sun™, HP, IBM® and Linux®. WebNow offers document access from Mozilla® Firefox®, Microsoft Internet Explorer®, Apple® Safari™ and other browsers. The architecture also allows full product functionality to be delivered remotely via Software as a Service (SaaS) or other hosted deployment options.
Flexible Storage
The ImageNow object storage model is portable across all major operating systems and can store and manage virtually any type of electronic object, including rich media files. A fully relational database is included with ImageNow, but the product also supports other platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle®, IBM DB2® and Sybase®.
Deployment Options
In addition to traditional models, we offer hosted deployment programs in the SAS 70-compliant Perceptive Software Data Center for those customers who prefer to have us manage their central ImageNow application environment and the associated infrastructure.
