Perceptive Software Names Higher Education Product Manager

Mike Wessel joins Perceptive Software’s product management team to lead the development of products and functionality to meet the needs of higher education institutions

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — (29 Jan 2008) Perceptive Software, creator of ImageNow® enterprise document management, imaging and workflow solutions today announced the appointment of Mike Wessel as Higher Education Product Manager. Wessel transfers to product development from sales, where he served as a higher education account executive for four years.

In his new role, Wessel oversees the software development cycle for products and functionality created for higher education customers. Wessel’s experience with higher education customers using ImageNow brings a unique perspective to the development of industry-specific solutions within the ImageNow product suite.

Wessel has in-depth experience working with a variety of higher education departments and institutions, helping colleges and universities get the most from their document technology investments. He holds three bachelor’s degrees from Iowa State University.
