City of Avondale Adds ImageNow

ImageNow selected for document management project in City of Avondale’s human resources and development services departments.

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — (08 Jul 2008) Perceptive Software, creator of ImageNow enterprise document management, imaging and workflow software, today announced City of Avondale, Ariz., has selected ImageNow for an initial implementation in its human resources and development services departments.

City of Avondale, a western suburb of Phoenix, is a rapidly growing community with more than 75,000 residents. After a comprehensive search of document management solutions, City of Avondale selected ImageNow for its robust alliance partnerships and enterprise-wide scalability.

Perceptive Software’s patented LearnModeTM technology will allow the city to seamlessly integrate ImageNow with its existing Lawson application in human resources and with its Accela solution in development services. The patented technology facilitates a non-programmatic integration, regardless of the business application, allowing City of Avondale to leverage the technology across the organization.

After its initial implementation, City of Avondale plans to expand ImageNow to its finance department, clerk’s office and several additional departments.
