Williams & Company Consulting to Automate Claims Department with ImageNow from Perceptive Software

Sioux City, Iowa-based environmental consulting firm aims to go paperless in their third party administrator claims department.

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — (11 Oct 2007) Perceptive Software, creator of ImageNow® enterprise document management, imaging and workflow software, today announced that Williams & Company Consulting, an environmental consulting firm based in Sioux City, Iowa, has entered into an agreement to deploy ImageNow in its claims department.

Established in 1929, Williams & Company Consulting also serves as a third party administrator for two state environmental programs. In that capacity they process claims for petroleum storage companies and dry cleaning companies. The company intends to eliminate manual inefficiencies in claims departments at all five of its locations including Sioux City, Iowa, Kansas City, Mo., St, Louis, Mo., Jefferson City, Mo., and Chicago, Ill.

Perceptive Software’s patented LearnMode™ technology will allow Williams & Company Consulting to seamlessly scale ImageNow across all locations without disrupting existing business processes and operations. The non-programmatic integration technology will allow Perceptive Software to deploy ImageNow in a timely manner, helping Williams & Company Consulting achieve a rapid return on its investment. Documents will be scanned and securely linked to records within the claims systems for integrated, single-click retrieval. With all pertinent policyholder and claim information consolidated into one central electronic repository, claims staff will easily be able to access documents in real time and complete administrative activities more efficiently.
