University of Wales, Bangor (UWB), implemented ImageNow in the student records department to overcome the time, productivity and financial costs associated with managing paper records. Using patented technology, ImageNow seamlessly integrated with UWB’s SunGard Banner (formerly known as SunGard SCT Banner) application, enabling users to retrieve registration forms and other supporting documents from their Banner screens with a single click. This integrated approach speeds service to students and as employees no longer perform manual tasks such as filing and retrieving documents, they have more time to spend working with students. Storing student records electronically in ImageNow allowed UWB to get rid of numerous file cabinets, liberating floor space that is now used for an employees' communal area.
