When University of Maine System decided to centralize admissions processing of its seven campuses, it implemented ImageNow enterprise document management, imaging and workflow software to streamline the process. Now ImageNow helps UMS accelerate administrative time in admissions, financial aid, sponsored programs and student loan processing.

Integration between ImageNow and the university's PeopleSoft system gives users direct, immediate access to transcripts, essays and other documents from their student information system screens at anytime, from anywhere. Rather than each admissions office manually sorting through paperwork, applications are scanned into ImageNow at a central operation and routed through ImageNow Workflow to the campuses for processing, reducing administrative time and improving student service.
