Madison Area Technical College selected ImageNow integrated document management, imaging and workflow to replace an extensive paper process network that was gridlocking storage facilities and inhibiting customer service. Many document management vendors offer large-scale, costly systems that take months to implement, but Perceptive Software deployed a customized, 10-user ImageNow solution in MATC's financial aid department in just eight days.
The university has since extended ImageNow to the admissions and records departments and is planning to introduce it in human resources. WebNow, the full featured, browser-based compliment to ImageNow, gives MATC's five campuses instant, single-click document access. An unlimited number of authorized users can view document images simultaneously and student enquiries are answered without delay. By reducing the amount of filing and photocopying, ImageNow allows employees to focus on the completion of workflow tasks.
