Prior to ImageNow implementation, fulfilling a colleague’s request for information involved a finance associate pulling the file, making a copy and sending the document by company mail. Now, authorized users in other departments instantly access supplemental documents from their host application screens, saving time for them and the finance department.
Perceptive Software’s Automated EDI Conversion package converts EDI data into XML files, and then into PDF documents that are automatically imported into ImageNow. The ability to view invoices as PDF files allows Cedars-Sinai to verify the accuracy of transactions, which is particularly useful when there is an error on an invoice.
