Staff at Barron Collier Company (BCC) headquarters handle the accounts payable processes for the more than 130 smaller companies that comprise the business, making payables one of biggest operations in the company. Before deploying ImageNow, the centralized AP staff shuffled paper invoices through the approval process manually, and entered coding into their Dynamics GP solution at the end of the process to issue checks to vendors. BCC business managers knew that in order to make the business more effective, it was time to streamline its complex payables process and reduce the paper build up it was experiencing.
Using ImageNow, BCC now scans invoices as they are received, making invoices visible at the beginning of the process. Associates enter initial invoice data into an ImageNow Worksheet attached to the invoice and route invoices through the approval process via ImageNow Workflow. Data entered and approved in ImageNow is pushed to BCC's Dynamics GP solution using ImageNow Envoy, ensuring tighter controls over the AP process from start to finish.
